Description:
Impulse responses recorded in Clifford’s Tower, York. The tower is formed of four round bastions with a quadrilobate’ plan. Sandstones were used to construct the walls, and timber was used to construct the roof. The tower is not an enclosed space, which has windows and an open roof deck. Impulse responses recorded with S1R1, S1R2, S1R3, S2R4: Source 1 and Receiver 4 were positioned at the centre of the ground floor; Receiver 1 was positioned at the entrance; Receiver 2 was positioned at the corner of the first floor walkways; Source 2 and Receiver 3 were positioned at the centre of first floor walkways (right at the top of the Source 1).
